During the fall semester, for my Expository Writing class, we read Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. I wrote weekly of logs on my interpretations, but my favorite part was creating a few illuminated manuscript. Here are my drawings of the Pardoner from "The General Prologue" and also one from the "Clerk's Tale".
Mr. Kondo needed a logo designed for his new business venture, Kondo Farms, which will raise earthworms for composting and education. My instructions were to design something anime cute on a friendly, Californian surfboard. But later, he decided to do a leaf instead. This was a neat learning experience!
My poem "Cobra" was read on the One Laguna Radio podcast Spoken Word/Spoken Song's Podcast from KX935.com. Listen for the show's closing, around timecode 114:00. Special thanks to Miss Raundi's new anthology A Poet is a Poet No Matter How Tall: Episode II Attack of the Poems!
